Concept Testing

We tested the SoNutri prototype with users aged 18 and above, gathering feedback through open-ended questions. Five participants completed tasks and provided feedback.

Result and Process Reflection

The interest expressed by users underscores the strong potential for SoNutri's success within our target market. The market size allows SoNutri to gauge the app's effectiveness. SoNutri distinguishes itself from existing grocery apps by offering enhanced accessibility to organic foods, addressing a gap identified through our market research. Users are drawn to the app's ability to connect them with local businesses and farms, aligning with their interest in supporting local producers. The convenience and health benefits offered by SoNutri appeal to potential users, particularly those lacking access to fresh, organic options. The feature allows users to shop from virtual farmer's markets, which is particularly advantageous for consumers in rural areas. Despite competition in the nutrition app space, SoNutri's unique offerings and target market set it apart. With strategic marketing efforts, SoNutri can extend its reach and appeal to a broader audience. Notably, 100% of users were willing to use SoNutri to purchase organic groceries from local stores and farms.

Looking Forward: The SoNutri project aims to advance organic food consumption through user-centered design and sustainability. We will continually refine our features and functionalities based on ongoing feedback and market demands. Strengthening partnerships with local farmers' markets and organic suppliers will underscore our dedication to supporting community businesses while providing users with diverse options. Strategic marketing initiatives will ensure that SoNutri reaches a broader audience, making healthier, more sustainable food choices accessible to all. Additionally, we will explore opportunities for trademarking and patenting to safeguard our brand identity and innovative features. Through these legal measures, we aim to establish a distinct presence in the market and protect our app's unique offerings, maintaining our competitive advantage and ensuring the longevity of SoNutri's impact.
